Urban culture Project’s Third Friday begins with an artist talk (5:30pm at Paragraph) by Peregrine Honig, who was awarded the Charlotte Street Foundation spot at Art Omi International Studio Residency Program in Upstate New York this summer. The evening also includes the debut of a commissioned window installation by Kati Toivanen at City Center Square, the openings of On View: Art by Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Security Officers at Paragraph and Parallax, featuring the work of three women painters, at Project Space. Plus open studios at Bonfils and pARTnership Place. All free in downtown Kansas City.
